Accessories Play a Bigger Role

09.25.16

As fall officially begins in New York City the weather is starting to cool down at this time of the year. For suit colors, will only charcoal gray, navy or black do? While these colors should be the foundation for any wardrobe, adding a brighter color or experimenting with different patterns always adds a nice element. Of course, you want to use good judgment and find a color complimentary to your complexion.

What I personally like about jackets or blazers are the wide lapels. For instance, Alan is wearing a light purple linen jacket which gives an authentic menswear Italian look. Like oxblood, plum is a bold color choice as well as selecting the right fabric (kindly read more here).

Today I decided to stick to solid blue colors which give a proper contrasting for each shade. The white Panama hat and trouser chain give a more refined and polished look. Again, accessories play a bigger role on the entire outfit so feel free to play around with it based on your own preference. Your personal choice in clothing can help define your style.
